"The Great Gatsby" star Carey Mulligan has tied the knot with Mumford and Sons lead singer Marcus Mumford. The couple married over the weekend in England.

According to the Daily Mail, 200 guests were in attendance, including superstar pals Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal and Colin Firth. The British newspaper reported that Mulligan's dad, John, is a vicar and conducted the wedding, which took place on Saturday on a farm in Somerset. The couple married in a barn on the farm's grounds.

Mulligan reportedly wore an ivory backless dress designed by Versace. The groom was spotted driving to the ceremony wearing Ray-Ban sunglasses. The pair reportedly married in the English countryside because "it's where both of their families are from," according to People.com.

Firth reportedly gave a speech at the wedding, according to the Press Association, which reported that according to sources, "Colin was a pro at the speech. He was his charming self and had the room in fits."

The couple began dating in early 2011 and got engaged in August. Both had recently ended previous relationships, with Mulligan having split from actor Shia LaBeouf while Mumford had broken up with singer Laura Marling.

As the story goes, the newlyweds were also reportedly childhood pen pals through their church in London. They began dating after Mulligan attended a Mumford and Sons concert with Gyllenhaal.

"At the end of the night there were just the musicians, Jake, Carey and the Mumford boys," a source told Usmagazine.com about the night that sparked the romance. "We had some pizza, and just played music. Jake picked up a guitar and Carey joined in on 'Amazing Grace.' Marcus and Carey seemed really friendly."
