In January 2012 Zdorovenin, 55, was extradited to New York from Switzerland, where he was detained in March 2011. Zdorovenin has thus already been imprisoned for almost two years.
According to U.S. prosecutors, Zdorovenin and his son Kirill were engaged in criminal activities since 2004.
The whereabouts of Kirill Zdorovenin are unknown. According to investigators he was the organizer of the "business."
