REAL ESTATE: Mortgage fraud protection summit in Riverside - blog

Riverside Police Department, 10540 Magnolia Ave., is the setting for a full-scale mortgage fraud and consumer protection summit that?s open to the public.

The curtain lifts at 9:30 a.m. today, Nov. 7, with a notable lineup.

Speakers include: U.S. Attorney Andr? Birotte Jr.; San Bernardino County District Attorney Michael Ramos; Riverside Police Chief Sergio G. Diaz; Riverside County Assistant District Attorney Creg Datig; Supervising Deputy Attorney General Benjamin Diehl; California State Bar chief executive Joe Dunn; and special agents of the FBI, IRS, Secret Service, Postal Service and Office of the Inspector General.

The purpose of the Inland Empire Mortgage Fraud and Consumer Protection Summit is to provide state, federal and local law enforcement officials the chance discuss recent developments in the investigation and prosecution of mortgage fraud and consumer protection matters across the Inland region.

Registration starts at 9 a.m.
